  • 2016 - Wildcats Team established
  • 2006 - Newhouse Basketball Club established

Established in 2006, Newhouse Basketball Club is a vibrant local community Club based in Sittingbourne but attracting members from across the North Kent and Medway region.

Run by a small but very dedicated group of volunteer Coaches and coordinators, Newhouse currently offers both recreational and competitive Basketball activities covering a wide range of youth and adult groups. These groups include: U10, U12, U14, U16, U16 Boys Junior National League, Senior Men and a recently formed Ladies (35+) group called the Newhouse Cougars in addition to the recently established Newhouse Wildcats, the Club’s first All-Girls (11-21) youth group.

Established in the summer of 2016, the Wildcats currently have 19 members who train once a week for two hours. The vital funds received from Kent Trust for Youth Sport will be used to help purchase a set of custom-design team uniforms. The uniforms will immediately enable the team to participate in friendly competitive games.
