Madi has been skiing since she was a toddler on family ski holidays and she soon began to follow her older brother Mike, through the ski park. This was where she discovered that she was a little bit crazy and loved the extreme side of the sport. She quickly progressed and began to enter competitions on dry slopes back in the UK.
In 2010, Madi competed in her first British Championships gaining valuable competition experience. In 2011 and 2012 she took home gold in all four of her age category events and in 2013 won the overall women’s slopestyle event. Madi’s impressive results enabled her to progress to the England freestyle squad and in 2014 she became the youngest member of the British Freeski team; representing GB in both slopestyle and halfpipe.
Competing at the British Championships in 2013 and taking home the Overall Female Slopestyle Gold for the first time (as well as Bronze in the Halfpipe) and Gold in all four of my age category events.
I’ve been extremely lucky so far in that I haven’t really had any.

I have to wear the exact same outfit that I practised in when I do my competition runs
