Kent Phoenix Youth American Football Club was formed in September 2016 with the aim of offering opportunities to young people to get involved in playing a new sport. It focuses development through Flag American Football for players aged 8-13 into kitted American Football for ages 14-18.

Based in Maidstone, the Phoenix has seen its number grow from the teens to nearly 60 and continues to develop and offer positive engagement for its members. Teams participate in local and regional competition, and the club continues to look to find ways for its young players to develop their skills and forge pathways for the future.

Since its creation the Phoenix has worked hard to increase the equipment available for training and to provide kit for players to use, the money given by the Kent Trust For Youth Sport will be used to purchase team shirts that will ensure the Phoenix look great when playing. It will also give our players a sense of pride and inclusion in a sport and club that offers a great deal, both on and off the field.

Kent Phoenix trains Sunday mornings from 1000-1300 and are always looking for new members who would like to get involved, boys and girls are welcome. For more information click here.
