Achievements to date

  • 2018 - British Open Taekwondo Championships Gold medal in Power Breaking
  • 2018 - Appointed England Junior Female Team Captain for European Championships in Slovenia
  • 2017 - Selected for England squad aged 14
  • 2017 - Graded to Black Belt aged 14

I have been practicing ITF Taekwondo since I was eight and have always enjoyed competing so I was thrilled to be selected for the ITF England Junior Squad just after I graded to 1st degree Black Belt when I was 14. I train in Tonbridge with Mr Tim Dunn and with the England Squad in Birmingham, London and Newcastle. I have been to some amazing places to compete for England, such as Bulgaria, Ireland, Slovenia and Germany. The European Championships are in Sarajevo this year and I am determined to make this year the best yet. It is amazing to compete for your country and to meet so many people from different places that all have the same thing in common.

Most memorable sporting achievement to date

Reaching the quarter finals of the European Championships in Slovenia and only narrowly losing to the girl who went on to win gold.

Biggest sporting disappointment to date

Not reaching my potential in Germany this year, knowing that I could have gone further.

Most respected sportsperson

Kelly Holmes, she has achieved so much and always battled through regardless of difficulties.

Ritual before sporting competition

I don’t really have one. Because if you have a ritual or a mascot and you lose it or miss doing it, it may affect your performance.
