Bowls
Achievements to date
I started to play bowls in 2016 after six years of playing football, my Dad and Grandfather used to play bowls and we decided to start bowling again. After my first season, I moved to Swale IBC to bowl with some of the best bowlers in the county. Shortly after my move, I was part of the team that won the National Under 25 National Triples (and we also won the Potters Under 17 triples championship for two years on the trot) which enabled me to play on the portable rink just before the World Singles Final. My development has continued at Swale IBC and I am learning how to bowl each day with accomplished bowlers. The introduction to the sport has given me so much more than just a sport, it gives me a physical and mental stimulation as well as meeting new people and making friends.
My most memorable achievement was to play in the final of the Mens County Fours, I had only been bowling for two to three years and this made it extra special because I won my county badge with my Dad.
I do not have any disappointments, just challenges and opportunities for improvement.
