My name is Jade Oni. I am very lucky as this the second time I have received help from the Trust. I am 16 years old, and currently studying sport at North Kent College in Darford. I have recently changed my athletic events from High Jump, in which I won the English Schools Championships U15 in 2015 to Long Jump, in which I won the Kent Indoor Championships at Lee Valley in 2017, and now to Triple Jump. I started this event in June just to have a go and after competing a handful of times I have become National England Athletics U17 Champion in August putting me at the top of the UK rankings! I have recently been interviewed for Athletics weekly and appeared in the magazine which I was very excited about. I am looking forward to 2018 and seeing what it brings.
