Ice Dance Skating
Achievements to date
I am 14 years old and have been skating since I was five and half years old. I am currently 6th in the country for my age and category. I train 5 to 6 days a week, mostly before school and at the weekends and on average spend 14 hours a week in training. In the school holidays I train considerably more. I have competed in the British National Championships for the last 5 years achieving a Bronze medal in 2016, and I have qualified to compete again in this year’s championship. I have represented Great Britain in Copenhagen and Finland. I am also keeping up with my schoolwork and working hard towards my GCSE’S. My goal is to achieve a podium position in the British Championships in 2019 and 2020.
Receiving a bronze medal at the British Championships in 2016
Receiving a 4 point deduction for music violations (one of the judges deemed my music inappropriate for the dances) at the Lee Valley solo completion this year which resulted in a low score.
