New conditions of funding

There are two funding streams available to help young people within the County to participate in sport, through individual efforts or sports clubs and organisations. The Trustees have updated the conditions of funding to ensure that the Trust continues to meet its charitable objectives and encourages applications from a variety of sports, clubs and organisations across the county.

Sports Grants for Clubs and Community Organisations
The aim of the grants to clubs and community organisations is to help young people (aged under 21 years) within the County to participate in sport.

Applications will be considered four times a year, deadline for applications is as follows: 1 March, 1 June, 1 September and 1 December.

Cornwallis Sporting Excellence Awards for Individuals
The aim of the awards for individuals is to develop / support sports excellence. Awards are available to assist high level sports performers with the costs of specialist equipment and clothing, competing, travelling to competitions and training.

Applications will be considered twice yearly, deadline for applications is as follows: 1 June and 1 December.
