Rainham based, Questor Insurance invited Kent Trust for Youth Sport to join them on their recent Management Away Day to accept a £1,000 donation. The donation was made by Questor Insurance’s CEO, Andrew Lawrence, and gratefully received by the charity’s Chair of Trustees, Charlotte Cornwallis.
Andrew Lawrence said: “We are proud to be supporting this great charity, as donations made go direct to the selected youths, assisting them in achieving their sporting ambitions and dreams.
Our recent donation is hopefully one of many, and we as a company are very much looking forward to finding out who has been selected by the charity’s board to receive our donation in the form of a Sports Award for 2014.”
Charlotte Cornwallis said: “Donations made like this recent contribution by Questor Insurance, make it possible for us to offer opportunities to individuals and community organisations to help young people participate in sport throughout the county of Kent. Questor Insurance’s donation will assist high level young sporting performers with the cost of specialist equipment, training, competing and travelling expenses.”
The announcement of which young people have been selected to receive awards from the charity for 2014 is expected to be released in February.
