Eventful game for Tilly

Maidstone win a tough game against Herne Bay. On Saturday 24 February, the Maidstone Roller Hockey Senior team played against Herne Bay in the SECHRA league at the Herne Bay Arena.

Steady play in the first half with Rui Borges scoring two and Tommy Harbord one and Herne Bay sneaking one in over Maidstone keeper Tilly King’s pads after she’d saved it.

The action was much greater in the second half with Maidstone scoring two more winning goals. The first goal was from Rui Borges and the second from a penalty success from Tommy Harbord. The last 15 seconds created some last minute tension as Maidstone keeper Tilly King lost her stick and Captain, Tommy Harbord gave her his to make a save.

Final score was 5-2 to Maidstone.
