European Junior Championship Bronze for Maisie

The young British Marathon swimmers competing at the European Junior Championships have returned home with a bronze medal.

The bronze came in the 14-16 years relay and featured Hector Pardoe, Millie Sansome, Ioan Evans and KT4YS recipient Maisie McCartney.

The athletes swam a tough race and finished just behind Russia (gold) and Hungary (silver).

The swimmers backed up the relay performance at the World Junior Championships with their position on the podium in Marseille.
